They are 3mm plates with 7/16" UNF nuts welded on. My nuts were BZP (bright zinc plate), and I gave them a light grinding to take some of the coating off prior to welding.
Although 7/16" sounds like an odd size, it's pretty much the standard for seat harness mounts.
The plates sit on the lower rails, two for each seat, towards the back of the chassis. If you look on my last post you might be able to make out where they are.
They are fully welded to the chassis on both sides, but on the inside I ground them flat to allow panels to fit over them.
