Nosecone Grill

Here's some pics of my nosecone grill.
Made with some ali cheap mesh off ebay.

I was slightly woried about it being a little bit too sharp, so I went over it with a sander, then added several coats of paint to give it a smoother finish:

Still need to fix it in place.  Will either use some cable ties, just sikaflex it in place.

Reworking Headlight Mounts

When I originally welded my headlight mounts to the chassis I didn't have the wishbones, so didn't know where the wheels were going to be in relation to the headlights.
It later transpired that my front wheels hit the headlights on full lock...doh!

My mounts did look like this:

To bring the headlights closer to the body I chopped the round bits of the end of the mounts, filled the ends with chemical metal, and drilled holes through what was left of them.

I also stuck a couple of rubber end caps over the end to (hopefully) keep IVA man happy.

I still need to find some kind of trim to wrap around the headlight bases.
